SNERGY was approached by a diversified Canadian communications and media company. They are engaged in wireless voice and data communications services and are Canada’s largest wireless provider. They are also one of Canada’s largest providers of cable television services as well as high-speed Internet access, telephony services and video retailing. They were trying to navigate through a complicated vendor selection process for provisioning technology.
Desire to integrate multiple end-to-end provisioning processes through a best of breed technology solution. This selection process involved multiple software vendors requiring a ‘fact-based’ selection process. Compressed timelines for proof of concept presentations and implementation further complicated project.
SNERGY worked with client to document the current state service enablement process. SNERGY facilitated collection of functional and technical requirements, developed a Request for Proposal (RFP) document, including Use Cases for vendor proof of concepts as well as liaised with client Procurement group to ensure RFP is aligned with internal processes.
